Does it Matter What I Feed My Pet?
With so many brands vying for your attention, does it really matter what you should feed your pet? Wouldn’t it be so much easier just to buy the cheapest option and feed them that?
Simply Put, It Does Matter What You Feed Your Pets.
Pets are such a large part of our lives, and can be a huge part of our families. Why would we treat them otherwise when it’s time for dinner?
It all began in the 1930’s. Failed crop that had mold, or failed inspection was re-labeled as ingredients for pet food. To save money, some pet food was filled full of food deemed unsafe for humans to eat. Even with more protections today, not all pet food is made equal. There’s a reason why 53% of dogs and 58% of cats are overweight or obese, and a large part of that stems from an unhealthy diet.
Our factories are certified SQF Level Three, which means all of our food safety qualification programs are the same level of food safety standards as human grade food. We use real ingredients, such as sweet potatoes, chicken, lamb, chickpeas, salmon and more, because they have real benefits to your pet’s health. All Evolve food is 100% filler free, and is made with your pet’s best interest at heart.
Here are some of the real benefits to some of our ingredients we use over fillers, such as corn, soy, and wheat. We use these ingredients in many of our recipes because they are what’s best for a healthy meal for your pet.
Sweet Potatoes: Unlike corn, soy, or wheat, sweet potatoes are a power packed vegetable rich in dietary fiber, vitamins A and C, iron, calcium, and beta carotene. This ingredient is an ideal complex carbohydrate source that provides all day energy.
Salmon: We use salmon in many of our recipes for cats because it contains lean, highly digestibly protein, minerals, and Omega 3 Fatty Acids, which are all beneficial for your cat’s good health!
Cranberries: Many of our recipes contain cranberries because they of their superfood qualities. They are full of vitamins, antioxidants, and other healthy fibers. Your pets will love their food with cranberries!
Brown Rice: We use brown rice instead of corn, soy, or wheat because brown rice is easier for dogs to digest and absorb nutrients from and generally a healthier form of carbohydrates for your pets. Just another way our food is filler free!
From our family to yours, we hope that you choose the best for your best friend.
